This A2 acrylic portrait of Henry the Jug took four days to complete. The original background to this picture of Henry seemed like a good template to turn it a little abstract, adding texture and originality. My favourite part about this painting is Henry’s eyes because of the multiple flecks of colour, and light which channels through his pupils. I really enjoy the blue tones which shine at the top of his head as I feel it shows different lights flickering off of his fur. Overall I loved completing this painting as it really captured everything I look for in a commission.
